IYT Learn to Sail:
A basic two-day introduction to yachting.
IYT International Crew:
This is the level of competence neededin settled conditions to act as a crewmember on a yacht.
IYT Watchkeeper / FlotillaSkipper:
This course is designed for students who hold an International Crew certificate or who have at least one season’s sailing experience. It provides both a theoretical and practical understanding of basic navigation, seamanship and boat handling
IYT Bareboat Skipper:
A course designed those who have at least one full seasons experience on a yacht (with one passage of over 200nm and or 10 days of passage). This course provides both a theoretical and practical understanding of simple, seamanship and boat handling skills.
IYT VHF operator:
This course covers basic VHF radio theory, components of radio systems and how to operate a VHF marine radio
IYT RIB Master:
This is a 2 day course aimed at quickly taking some one from beginner to proficient, safe small powerboat operator.
A comprehensive course which includes a practical examination. The course covers navigational charts and publications, dead reckoning and estimated position, position fixing, tides, tidal levels and data, pilotage, safety at sea, meteorology and more. (Offshore and Coastal levels).
